Fivepenny Farm Catering

Fivepenny Farm is an organic farm located in West Dorset. We can provide food for most events from conference buffets to weddings and outdoor catering at festivals. We make our food from whatever is seasonal and available on the farms, so the menu always changes, but it is always a feast.

A typical buffet menu would include:

Platters of organic slow roast lamb, roast beef, ham and sausages, plus vegetarian and vegan side dishes, like spicy chickpeas and casseroles
Seasonal organic salads like mixed green salad, potato salad, carrot walnut apple salad, beetroot with dill yoghurt, roasted vegetables with barley, buckwheat with pecans and pumpkins, marinated leeks or coconut cabbage
Snacky foods like devilled eggs and  samosas
Artisanal bread and handmade cow and goat cheeses
Seasonal pestos (wild garlic or nasturtium) or dips (like broad bean or beetroot hummus) 
Chutneys and sauces (like our handmade harissa and pickled gherkins)
For pudding we usually have seasonal fruit meringue towers and our favourite honey almond cake

 Almost all of the food is sourced locally from members of our co-operative.  The pork , lamb and beef is from our farm or Liberty organic farm processed ourselves into gourmet sausages and hams. Our cheese is made from our hand-milked cow and goat’s milk. We specialize in a tasty range of fresh salads- sprinkled with edible flowers and herbs. Puddings are based on seasonal fruits and fair-trade ingredients, often topped with fresh Jersey cream!

We can cater for special diets- vegetarian, vegan and wheat-free. We can also supply traditionally pressed apple juice, fruit cordials and cider.
